HOW TO FIX “This App Can’t Open” IN WINDOWS 10


Windows 10
is the latest Operating system from Windows which has a sweet looking, friendly and captivating interfaces and features that was lacking in the previous Windows. It has a new notification bars, also the broad and wider view of the Program menu when you press the Window
key on your keyboard or on the desktop icon, it also allow you to use apps from the Windows Store which is one of the most interesting performance by the Windows 10 OS, you can use app such as Facebook, instagram, twitter, and games without installing BlueStack on your PC.

Windows 10 has gotten a latest update (patch) which at a certain point your PC will notify you to update your windows or most of your drivers and programs wouldn’t work any longer in the older version but after update most of the apps you downloaded from Windows Store or the default apps for playing music, videos and viewing photos will not open. Anytime you try to open it windows will prompt an error message like this. “This App Can’t Open”.

It ha been like that for me until I come across this method. Below are the steps to follow to fix this error. This steps was tested by me and it worked.


1. Go to Run by pressing Windows + R key on the keyboard or Click Windows, scroll down to Windows System and click it, then select

2. In the run bar type “secpol.mse” and click Ok to open Local Security Policy

3. Click on Local Policy to expand the drop down menu in the left hand side bar.

4. Click on Security Options from the drop down list.

5. Double click on User Account Control: Admin Approval for the Built-in Administrator Account

6. Select the Enabled button and click apply then Ok.

7. Go down again and double click on User Account Control: Run all administrator in Admin Approval Mode

8. Select Enabled and click Apply, then OK.









SECOND STEP

1. Press Windows + R key on the keyboard

2. Type regedit and press Ok, to open the Registry Editor, if you are prompt to allow the program click OK

3. Click on the drop down arrow in front of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE at the left hand side bar.

4. Click on SOFTWARE then Microsoft then Windows then CurrentVersion the Policies then System and then select Audit.

5. On the right hand side right click on Default and select Modify

6. In the Value data bar type this 0x000000(1)



After this steps your Windows Store Apps should open and be available for use.
